Climbing in the mountains
Described by many as the “university of granite”, high above the valley a multitude of rock climbs of all levels of difficulty and commitment weave their way up the weathered walls. These rock faces have witnessed the entire evolution of mountaineering and rock climbing and nowadays the classic climbs, established by some of the most talented early mountaineers, are joined by more recent outings, offering an interesting combination of both classic and modern alpinism.
