How to arrive at Val Masino

Val Masino is in the center of the Alps and is on a side valley of Valtellina, Lombardy. It is 120 km from Milan.

  • BY CAR

    • From Milan take the SS 36 direction Lecco-Sondrio for 90 km; at Colico SS 38 direction Sondrio, after the bridge over the river take the left to Masino valley.
    • From Como/Lugano go through Menaggio/Gravedona SS 340 direction Colico; at Colico SS 38 direction Sondrio, after the bridge over the river take the left to Masino valley.
    • From Bergamo go through S.Marco Pass or through Lecco.
    • From St. Moritz go through the Maloja Pass, Chiavenna, Morbegno. Or towards Bernina Pass and Sondrio
    • From Spluga Pass through to Chiavenna and Morbegno.
    • From Austria go through the Stelvio Pass
  • BY TRAIN

    • From Milan line to Lecco/Sondrio/Tirano. Train station: Morbegno, then bus to Val Masino
    • From Switzerland line between Saint Moritz/Tirano, Tirano/Morbegno, then bus to Val Masino
  • BY BUS

    • From Morbegno take the STPS bus service, line A20 (Morbegno-Ardenno-Val Masino)
